The Wedding Party® series of lenten roses showcases Walters Gardens own hybridizer, Hans Hansen’s double-flowered selections of Helleborus. ‘Shotgun Wedding’ is a wonderful addition to this series, as it features double, multi-colored flowers. It’s very similar to ‘Confetti Cake’, as the flowers display white centers, dark pinkish purple spots, but the purple is much more pronounced and contrasted in ‘Shotgun Wedding’. These flowers can hang downwards as they’re produced on the evergreen, dark green leaves in late winter.
